Marais in Dickinson

Never had anything bad at this restaurant. Service is excellent and the staff is always friendly. Can’t wait to go back. Great date night location. So deceiving from the outside.

Went for brunch yesterday, the food and atmosphere were great! I had the chicken and waffles which was very good, (chicken could have been a tad bit more seasoned) but overall everything was amazing. Our server was very attentive and just all around a great server. We sat on the patio because we didn’t know you had to call ahead as far as Wednesday for reservations but we know for next time. Will definitely be back!

After a busy week selling real estate and a late Friday night listing appointment for a Dickinson Bayou property, the night always ends well with good wine & great food at Marais! Tonight’s Chef’s Special was lightly breaded trout with a Cajun sauce! Beau had the 8-oz center cut fillet with asparagus! The service was impeccable as always, and the owner’s hospitality is unmatched in Galveston County’s upscale dining. Kimberly & Beau Harding

One of our favorite places. From the owner, to the service to the ambience, everything is always top notch. My daddy sure did love this place. ❤

We sat outside on the patio listening to live music. Nice environment and great food. The chef had a bit of trouble with cooking scallops to appropriate level, one was under cooked and we had it sent back then the next came back overcooked. We just decided to eat them, but it wasn't the main part of the meal. Everything else we had was excellent.

We ate here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The experience, the service, and most importantly the food is amazing. Jess, our server was amazing as well.

Something for those who happen to be COVID concerned - this is a safe place for you. Very safe service, as in masks on every employee down to the guy cleaning the outside seating and hand washing in the bar between every single drink - high class service not diminished in the least!! Wonderful drinks at the swing bar, fabulous dinner and dessert in lovely main dinning, and an after dinner cocktail out by the beautiful water view 😍. Best night out I've had in ages!!

This place is a locally owned business that is amazing. The waitstaff holds themselves to a very high standard of service. Be sure to ask for Peter if he is working. I had a cocktail called Pimms Cup,, which is very refreshing,, it was an alcoholic tea with cucumber, oranges, and strawberries in it.We had the black-eyed pea gumbo for a starter, it was amazing. We finished by splitting the shrimp and chicken pasta in a Cajun Alfredo sauce. That was very good as well. We were too full to get dessert, but I have heard that their beignets are very good!!! This restaurant is a must try. It is a nice "date night" restaurant!!!

We had a “working” dinner at Marais last night, and all had an amazing overall experience! The food and cocktails were delicious, and customer service is obviously not dead at this restaurant! We asked in advance for a highchair and to be seated somewhere quiet and out of the way so we could all talk business, and they did not disappoint! They took amazing care of us and our guests, and we cannot wait to go back! We’ll be back soon Marais!!!!!!

A great place to dine with good elegant music and a fine balcony view. Food is great at a reasonable price and staff is grade A. What I liked the most is how the manager Douglas Geters gets in and assists his staff with help. A great guy and to see and read his article on the wall near the restroom is a good read about a classy guy.--The Brown's
